Here’s a little about me: my name is Pier Merlin – #Memabike to my friends – and I was born and raised in Bressanone, in the South Tyrol region of Italy, then I lived for 20 years overseas, taking in Munich (Germany), Lucerne (Switzerland) and Glasgow (Scotland). As far as beautiful places go, in other words, I’ve been around. But Sardinia…is a whole other story. It’s not just the stunning landscape here – which, truth be told, is not always “easy” – but a whole set of things that combine to make me feel really at home for the first time.

I’m someone who likes to share, and so I would like to share this journey with you, allowing you to see this land through my eyes – in the saddle of what is the latest incarnation of a time-honoured means of transport, but one that retains its ancient soul. There need be no more struggle and no more obstacles, unless you want there to be. You will be left with the magical sensations you will have experienced: the magic of a land with which you engage in the saddle of a magical electric mountain bike. This is what Merlin’s Magic Bike Tours are all about.
