His abiding passion has always been motorcycle trials – at the tender age of just 13, he was actually the youngest ever participant in an outdoor event in Sardinia. As an adult, he became a globetrotter with his surfboard by his side, but after travelling the world, he realised just how special Sardinia is. His island offers a wealth of potential value, just waiting to be tapped: by rights, it should be the number one global destination for outdoor pursuits, from mountain biking to trekking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing and canoeing.
